ASSISTANT COMPANY SECRETARY – MINIMUM 3 YEARS COMPANY SECRETARIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
£40K – £56K + Bonus & Benefits
4 days WFH Hybrid (Doncaster) – 80% WFH, office close to A1/M18 junction or a few minutes by bus from Doncaster station.

Our client, a leading industrial services group, seeks a Company Secretarial professional. Responsibilities include:
- Board & Committee Support – Own the schedule of all board and committee meetings, ensure all members and attendees are informed, attend and minute meetings, prepare agendas, collate and distribute meeting packs, schedule meetings, arrange logistics, and provide general support.
- Compliance – Maintain UK statutory company records using both physical and electronic filing systems, make filings to Companies House ensuring all information held is correct and filings are made in a timely manner.
- Company Secretarial Support – Maintain department spreadsheets, company registers, archives and records; update and manage Group corporate structures; assist with liquidations and dissolutions of Group subsidiaries which are inactive and dormant; support the Group’s businesses with various requests, including KYC requests and due diligence processes.
- Document Management – Format, proof‑read and prepare documents and presentations; file forms relating to changes in corporate information and draft skeleton minutes for meetings.
- Governance Projects – Support governance projects, including board effectiveness reviews; organise board and committee meetings, take minutes, and track action points.
Qualifications and experience:
- At least 3 years of Company Secretarial and board experience, ideally within a group of companies.
- Experience taking minutes, arranging meetings, and willingness to pick up other areas quickly.
- Full proficiency in all Microsoft products.
- Legally entitled to work in the UK.
