This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
This position supports multiple US DoD programs and is part of Boeing\’s integrated defense portfolio to meet customers\’ rapidly evolving needs across the spectrum of global conflict. You will support programs such as F-15, F-18, and Missiles. As a System Administrator, you will help build, optimize, and secure technology that supports the warfighter mission.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting secure networks, with additional experience in patch management, application support, and information assurance. Collaboration with internal and external teams is essential. Domestic or international travel may be required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain multi-platform systems hardware, software, and components.
- Perform troubleshooting and restoration of computing service operations.
- Build and maintain information systems complying with JSIG/RMF security requirements.
- Integrate and configure security solutions into information systems.
- Develop custom Windows and Linux images for deployment.
- Participate in planning and executing upgrades and patches.
- Create training guides, knowledge articles, and documentation.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines.
- Provide software and integration support in closed environments.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, bash, or other platforms.
- Evaluate and communicate complex system problems and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with Windows Server (2016 or higher) Systems Administration.
- 3+ years experience with Windows Desktop Administration.
- Active Security+ Certification or equivalent meeting DoD requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NetApp or other SAN technologies.
- Experience with McAfee ePO, Splunk, and NetBackup or similar.
- Experience with Linux System Administration.
