Position Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering knowledge of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components in evaluation for assembly and repair/design.
- Support subcontractors and suppliers to ensure electronic components meet Boeing standards per the Parts Management Plan.
- Experience with high-reliability design environments such as aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or industrial applications.
- Experience with connectors, wires, cables, and cable fabrication, installation, etc.
Qualifications
Typically requires advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, physics, or related fields, with 9+ years of experience or equivalent qualifications (e.g., PhD + 4 years).
Must Have:
- Experience in electrical design and testing with components, wiring harnesses, connectors, and cables.
- Experience in military aerospace, defense contracting, or military service, especially in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).
- Knowledge of military electronics and relevant industry specs.
- Extensive wiring design experience (5+ years).
- Understanding of aircraft and weapons design requirements.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with project management tools.
- Knowledge of EHS, LEAN, and quality principles.
- Experience in military or industry specifications.
