The Role

This is a dynamic role offering the chance to shape the future of the company’s online presence. You will collaborate closely with the Ecommerce team to enhance customer experiences, drive traffic and customer acquisition, and ensure a seamless user journey from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site customer acquisition and retention activities.
  • Drive performance across various channels to increase engagement and conversions on the website, with a focus on SEO, CRO, CRM, and other site-driven strategies.
  • Work closely with the performance marketing team to analyze trends and optimize the user journey.
  • Use data insights to drive ongoing improvements across both paid and organic channels, ensuring alignment between website activities and marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee content creation and management on the site, ensuring all pages, product descriptions, FAQs, and blogs are engaging, accurate, and aligned with the brand’s voice.
  • Manage site experiments, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making to improve conversion rates.
  • Continuously monitor website performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify key areas for enhancing the customer journey, improving site speed, content accuracy, and user experience.
  • Develop and optimize landing pages and website content that align with the brand’s image and drive conversions, while adhering to best practices in design and accessibility.
  • Utilise web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Heap, Clarity, Search Console, SemRush) to track site performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Execute the site's SEO strategy to attract organic traffic.

Must haves (essential):

  • 3+ years of experience in an Ecommerce or digital marketing role.
  • Strong knowledge of on-site optimization, SEO, CRO, CRM, and content management.
  • Solid understanding of CRO and SEO techniques to optimize the customer experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results.

Nice to haves (non-essential):

  • Experience working with a challenger brand (retail / ecommerce / fashion / food / drinks etc).
  • Experience in a founder-led business.
