The role of a Clinical Pharmacist at Haden Vale Medical Practice is essential for enhancing the quality of care and operational efficiencies. This position requires a motivated and passionate individual dedicated to delivering excellent service within a general practice setting.
We are seeking one enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team, working alongside our Senior Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a fulfilling and vital career in primary care within a supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to use your expertise to innovate, advise and influence our medicines management strategy, and implement measures that ensure quality and safety in prescribing. Completion of an independent prescribing course is an essential requirement. While completion of the CPPE pathway is preferred, it is not mandatory, and there is an opportunity to support you through the CPPE pathway.
Main Duties of the Job:
- Prescribing quality improvements and medicines optimization.
- Holistic, patient-centered care within the PCN community.
- Support to the multidisciplinary team and proactive population health education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A higher degree in pharmacy and registration as a GPhC independent prescriber.
- Evidence of completion of the national training pathway delivered by CPPE for ARRS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in General Practice or a PCN.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in influencing others and conducting clinical medication reviews.
