Join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialist Acute and General Medicine Pharmacist at the Oxford Road Campus. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the health and quality of life of our diverse patient population through excellence in quality, safety, patient experience, research, innovation, and teaching.
Main Duties
- Providing clinical pharmacy services with directorate responsibilities.
- Rotating through multiple medical specialist/tertiary level services during training.
- Engaging with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Areas of focus include Respiratory (including MDRTB), Acute Medical Unit, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Elderly Care, Frailty, Stroke and Rehab, and General Medicine.
Candidate Requirements
- Essential: GPhC registration, previous hospital experience, clinical diploma (or completion of the first year), strong communication skills.
- Desirable: Independent Prescribing Course completion, research experience, experience supervising other staff.
