NHS Jobs is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Doncaster. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmaceutical services within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Core Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9am to 5:30pm
- Late Shift: Monday to Friday, 12noon to 8:30pm
- Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 5:30pm (on a rota basis)
Additional Information:
- Successful applicants must present original certificates of essential qualifications.
- Negotiable day off during the week.
- Participation in a bank holiday rota (9am to 5:30pm).
- Aseptics work may require staggered start/finish times, with some shifts starting as early as 8am.
