Join the University of East Anglia as a Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy. The University of East Anglia (UEA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy to join our postgraduate training team. This part-time role (0.4FTE) is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to the development of the next generation of prescribing pharmacists.

Role Overview

As a Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy, you will primarily focus on delivering our Independent Prescribing programme. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing educational themes for postgraduate pharmacists, with a particular emphasis on teaching and assessment related to your clinical expertise.

You will be expected to create engaging, technology-enhanced learning experiences that support the development of autonomous pharmacy practice skills, including prescribing. Additionally, you will play a key role in portfolio assessments, both within the university and as part of the national Royal Pharmaceutical Society Credentialling process. Your expertise will also support teaching and assessment across all postgraduate professional programmes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of clinical and operational experience and be a practicing non-medical prescriber. This position offers a unique opportunity for clinicians who are interested in expanding their careers into academia while continuing to develop their clinical practice. We are looking for someone who is committed to excellence in both clinical academic practice and patient care, with a desire to cultivate highly skilled prescribing pharmacist practitioners.
