NHS Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our esteemed pharmacy team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will collaborate with staff within the pharmacy department and across the Trust to contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Trust’s compliance with Medicines Management standards and meeting Clinical Governance and Risk Management requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services across various clinical specialties.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and professional standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
- Assist in the development and delivery of pharmacy services that align with the needs of the Trust and other affiliated organizations.
- Undertake projects aimed at enhancing the quality of patient care and contributing to effective drugs budget management within clinical specialties.
- Supervise junior pharmacy staff and students in assigned areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Qualified Pharmacist with registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Proven experience in clinical pharmacy services and medicines management.
- Strong understanding of medicines reconciliation and optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
