Join the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Women’s and Children’s Pharmacy Team as a Specialist Pharmacist focused on Neonates. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with a clinical pharmacy background. The successful candidate will lead and deliver a high-quality clinical service to the expanding neonatal unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital, with opportunities for cross-site collaboration. Additionally, there will be opportunities to work in other areas of Women’s and Child Health, including general paediatrics, maternity, and gynaecology.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Lead the expansion of the high-dependency neonatal unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital.
  • Ensure optimal pharmaceutical care delivery.
  • Develop neonatal transitional care services across all sites.
  • Assist with the ongoing optimisation of the Epic Electronic Healthcare System in neonatology.
  • Provide extensive pharmaceutical care and medicines management services in areas across Women’s and Child Health.
  • Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist Women’s and Children’s.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and other clinical meetings.
  • Engage in clinical audit, risk management, and clinical guideline development.
  • Provide supervision, education, and training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
