We are looking for proactive clinical pharmacists to join our expanding, dynamic, and friendly pharmacy team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT). Working in a large teaching hospital like LUHFT will provide you with a range of experiences and challenges that will enable you to excel as a clinical pharmacist.
Rotational Specialties
This role involves rotating through many exciting areas including Respiratory, Ophthalmology, Clinical Trials, Medication Safety, Haematology, Medicines Information, Emergency Floor, and Cardiology. This rotation is supported by a team of Advanced Clinical Pharmacists, offering you an ideal opportunity to gain further clinical skills and experience post-diploma.
Main Duties of the Job
In this role, you will work with a fully integrated electronic prescribing system and unique in-house systems designed to help you deliver excellent clinical care to patients. The dedicated rotations across various therapeutic areas are designed to enhance your involvement with directorate working.
You will be part of a well-established team of Advanced Clinical Pharmacists, which provides an ideal opportunity to expand your clinical skills and experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
- Rotating through different clinical specialties.
- Utilizing electronic prescribing and in-house systems for patient care.
Applicants must be registered pharmacists with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have a postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent experiential learning. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
