Main Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder will:
- Teach and conduct research in Clinical Pharmacy Practice across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Contribute to designing and delivering learning materials, including examinations.
- Coordinate and support module development in degree programs, acting as a module lead.
- Develop research opportunities and scholarly activities in clinical pharmacy practice.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must possess:
- Clinical pharmacy practice experience in hospital, community, or primary care.
- Relevant teaching and research experience, with a preference for successful research grant awards and/or publications.
- Proficiency in English Language, effective planning and management of activities, and relevant IT skills.
- Senior lecturer applicants should have proven recent and relevant post-qualification experience.
Qualifications Required
The post holder must be:
- A General Pharmaceutical Council registered pharmacist.
- Hold a minimum of an Honours degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
- Possess a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field for the UH 8 Senior Lecturer role.
