Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work alongside commissioners, ICB, and NHSE regional specialist commissioning teams to develop and deliver efficiency savings plans for High-Cost Drugs budgets and medicine utilization.
  • Support Clinical Teams: Actively engage in the development and implementation of treatment pathways for high-cost drugs and new treatments, building strong relationships with clinical teams.
  • Manage Trust Formulary: As a member of the Trust’s Drug and Therapeutics Committee, manage the Trust formulary with an evidence-based approach, ensuring the effective implementation of NICE and commissioner-endorsed treatments.
  • Deliver High-Quality Pharmacy Services: Contribute to the delivery of exceptional clinical pharmacy services, meeting the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals within the Trust.
