Join our dynamic pharmacy team to deliver an efficient, effective, and safe pharmaceutical service. As a Band 5 Rotational Pharmacy Technician, you will rotate through Dispensary and Clinical areas, participating in various activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake dispensary activities, ensuring accuracy in preparation and dispensing of medicines.
- Provide clinical and ward services under the direction of the Lead Clinical Technician.
- Offer pharmaceutical advice to ward staff, patients, and carers within your competency.
- Assist senior Dispensary staff in supervising, training, and coaching pharmacy support workers/student technicians.
- Contribute to the daily organization of the dispensary.
- Participate in late-duty, weekend, and Bank Holiday rotas.
Requirements
- Valid pharmacy technician qualification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven experience in dispensary and clinical settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
