Overview
The Pharmacy Care Group Manager, reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, holds delegated responsibilities encompassing:
- Accountable for the effective and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure processes align with quality standards and indicators.
- Project management for ongoing and future projects.
- Oversight of operational functions within the department.
- Achievement of performance and quality targets.
- Management of an Administrative and Clerical team.
- Collaboration with Operations on Business Continuity Plans and service development.
- Development of business cases for projects or service improvement.
- Budget management and analysis, delegated from the Chief Pharmacist.
- Review and authorization of requisitions for non-drug expenditure.
- Assurance of Key Performance Indicators with trend analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Reporting on Model Hospital Key Performance Indicators to Quality Improvement.
- Membership in the Divisional Board.
- Comprehensive management of administrative and clerical functions within the department.
- Support in the business aspects of Pharmacy procurement, business, and strategic planning.
