An excellent opportunity awaits a motivated and experienced Senior Pharmacist to join our passionate team. We are dedicated to enhancing our pharmacy services and ensuring that our patients receive top-notch pharmaceutical care. This part-time role, spanning 30 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, is open to applicants from various pharmacy sectors. While primarily a weekday position, some evening, weekend, and Bank Holiday duties may be required. Additionally, participation in our on-call service, as per the rota, will be expected. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is mandatory.
Main Duties of the Job:
- This role is based at Harplands Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.
- Core responsibilities include providing ward pharmacy coverage, participating in regular MDT meetings, and handling certain dispensary tasks.
- You will offer specialist clinical advice across diverse clinical areas, develop prescribing guidelines, and deliver medicines training to staff.
- The role also offers opportunities to shadow in various specialist areas, broadening your experience, skills, and knowledge.
