Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured rotational programme, delivering, developing, and leading specialist clinical pharmacy care across the hospital.
- Responsibilities will encompass various clinical specialties, including acute admissions, clinical trials, allergy & immunology, HIV, anticoagulation, ITU & AKI, antimicrobial stewardship, oncology & ePMA, biosimilars & high-cost drugs, women’s & children’s services, and more.
- Contribute to ongoing projects, such as the full automation of hospital-wide medicines management processes and the implementation of virtual wards.
- Support professional development by offering access to enhanced CPD options, including support in obtaining your PGDip Clinical Pharmacy and Independent Prescribing qualification.
Qualifications:
- Essential: GPhC-accredited MPharm degree (or equivalent).
- Essential: Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist.
- Essential: At least 12 months’ experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Desirable: Clinical Pharmacy postgraduate certificate or diploma.
