We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at NHS Jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing their own workload, overseeing audit and project work, and conducting training sessions for members of the clinical pharmacy team and GP practice team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize own workload, including audit and project work, and training sessions for team members.
- Record personally generated information and maintain a comprehensive database related to the work done in the practice(s).
- Maintain up-to-date, detailed records of all work done in the practices, whether done by the post holder or others.
- Ensure compliance with professional codes, maintain pharmacist registration, and stay informed about medical/therapeutic evidence, opinion, and relevant developments.
- Attend local, regional, and national meetings as agreed with the line manager.
- Line manage and mentor pharmacists and technicians, supporting their professional development.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post holder’s grade as agreed with the line manager.
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist with relevant qualifications.
- Proven experience in clinical pharmacy practice.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to keep abreast of medical/therapeutic developments and legislative changes.
