You will work as part of the Aseptic Services team in a technical role to provide an efficient, effective and safe aseptic service to patients. You will assist in the co-ordination of the service and perform relevant in-process checks of aseptically dispensed items.
Your duties will include:
- Aseptic preparation of products
- Working within a clean room environment
- Preparation and checking of documentation
- Environmental monitoring
- Stock control
- Co-ordinating medicines supply activity at departmental level to ensure the patient’s whole treatment is supplied as one complete package
- Working closely with the Team Leader, Principal Pharmacy Technician and Accountable Pharmacist to ensure activities comply with Good Manufacturing practice guidelines
