Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
- Facilitate staff training and development.
- Provide exceptional patient service and address concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
- Maintain stock levels and order medications as needed.
- Manage NHS and Private Services relationships.
- Monitor medication adherence and offer patient counselling.
- Control operating expenses and stay updated on medical advancements.
- Train and supervise pharmacy staff.
Key Skills Required:
- Experienced pharmacy manager or newly qualified pharmacist.
- Registered in Wales as a pharmacist.
- Accredited for Welsh services, ideally an independent subscriber.
- Proficient in Welsh language.
- Master’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and effective multitasking.
- Proficient computer skills for managing health records and inventory systems.
