We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and enthusiastic pharmacist with a passion for education and training to join our team. This role involves supporting the development of undergraduate pharmacists and providing clinical pharmacy services within the hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to the future of the pharmacy workforce. You will play a crucial role in expanding clinical placements for pharmacy students from the University of Manchester, integrating into the pharmacy team and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Clinical Tutor team and academic staff at the University of Manchester to provide hospital placements for all years of the MPharm program.
- Review and update the MPharm curriculum in line with new General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) guidance.
- Engage in audit and practice research to advance clinical teaching and support pharmacy undergraduate students with their research projects.
- Deliver a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service, including participation in weekend and late-night rotas.
- Support the Education and Training strategy of the MFT pharmacy department, assisting trainee and rotational pharmacists.

- Essential: GPhC registered pharmacist
Qualifications
- Essential: MPharm (or equivalent), 1 year pre-registration training, Successful completion of registration examination, Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy (or completed 1st year)

Knowledge and Experience
