An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Lead Hospital Pharmacist/Deputy Pharmacy Manager to join an exceptional private hospital in Kent, affiliated with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This facility, the largest independent hospital in Kent, boasts state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostic, and operating environments, supported by innovative technology for a broad spectrum of specialist services, ensuring prompt, safe, and quality care.
Qualifications
To be considered, you must be a qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC).
Responsibilities
- Lead in medication safety, presenting monthly seminars to clinical staff.
- Oversee medication management and medicines optimization.
- Maintain accurate documentation during clinical pharmacy activities.
- Assist in developing department standard operating procedures.
- Communicate professionally with service users.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Achieve, maintain, and develop pharmacy technical expertise.
- Monitor pharmacy charging for patients to maximize revenue.
- Deputize for the Pharmacy Manager when necessary.
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- 4 years post-registration clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Ability to inspire and lead others in healthcare delivery.
- Demonstrable credibility with key stakeholders.
- Ability to build working partnerships with consultants within the organization’s values.
The successful Pharmacist will enjoy a competitive salary of £48,000 – £50,000 per annum for this permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).
