  • Prescription Support: Assist general practice staff with prescription queries, support repeat prescriptions, and manage acute requests.
  • Medicines Reconciliation: Oversee medication reconciliation during patient transfers, ensuring safe prescribing.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide medicines advice, drive medicines optimization, and contribute to quality initiatives.
  • Community Integration: Facilitate collaboration with community and hospital pharmacies to improve healthcare access and outcomes.
  • Quality and Outcomes Framework: Contribute to service improvements under the framework.
  • Non-Medical Prescribing: Receive training to develop into a non-medical prescriber if needed.
