An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to join the team at The Outpatient Pharmacy at the James Cook University Hospital. The successful candidate will support the delivery of outstanding outpatient pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards, as well as locally agreed policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role involves contributing to the daily workflow to maintain high-quality services for customers, hospital staff, and other service users, while demonstrating effective leadership in line with the General Pharmaceutical Council’s code of conduct.
Main Duties
- The post holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Supporting the professional development of staff in accordance with operational service requirements.

About Us
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides leadership and improvement training to all new staff members. This training programme aims to enhance understanding of leadership and management skills within the NHS. New staff are expected to participate in the leadership development programme and the Quality Improvement Programme, which includes:
