Join our expanding Pharmacy Team at the Main Hospital, 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW, as a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist with On-Call shifts. The Main Hospital boasts 234 beds, 10 theatres, an endoscopy unit, radiology unit, dialysis, and a 13-bed intensive care unit.
As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, youβll provide a patient-centered clinical pharmacy service across various medical and surgical specialties. This full-time, permanent role includes 37.5 hours per week, plus on-call shifts, with a Band 7 equivalent salary. The Main Hospital offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for career development.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to designated wards
- Work across clinical disciplines including renal, urology, orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, plastics, and reconstructive surgery
- Lead and develop aspects of the clinical pharmacy service to enhance patient experience
- Contribute to optimal medicines usage by patients and healthcare professionals
- Participate in on-call pharmacist roster for urgent medicines supply
Skills & Experience
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist
- Postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification
- Acute healthcare environment experience
- Patient-focused, proactive, and dynamic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with good judgment to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
