We invite applications from experienced Pharmacists to join our award-winning independent community pharmacy chain. The position is based at our Lockleaze, Bristol branch (BS7). The successful candidate will become an integral part of our fantastic pharmacy team dedicated to prioritizing the health of local communities.
Job Details
- Salary: Up to Β£48,000
- Contract Length: Permanent
- Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday β Friday (09:00 β 18:00 with an hour break), No Weekends Required
- Benefits: 20 days holiday (increasing to 22 days after 2 years of service) + bank holidays, Pension scheme, Staff Discount Scheme, GPhC fees paid, Development & Career opportunities
Responsibilities
- Screen prescriptions to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based treatments.
- Apply clinical/technical knowledge to translate customer requests for TPN formulations into valid prescriptions.
- Ensure stability and suitability of all formulations.
- Dispense TPN and small volume compounded products, including antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs.
- Undertake statutory pharmacy duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must hold an MPharm Degree OR OSPAP Conversion Course.
- Must be a Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.
- Good ability to self-motivate and motivate others.
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- Proven patient management and counseling skills.
- Systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes.
- Ability to be an effective communicator with various levels of colleagues.
- The ability to learn from other people and draw on their skills.
