Salary: £21 per group induction delivered (30mins), £30 per 1-1 induction delivered (45mins) and £35 per personal training session (60mins) delivered.

Please Read Before Applying - this is a freelance based opportunity for an average recurring 2 monthly group bookings. Successful candidates will need to be registered as self-employed and hold a minimum of 5 million Professional Indemnity Cover within their insurance.

Rent-free opportunity – our trainers do not need to pay gym rent and/or commit to free shift hours to deliver PT at our sites.

We are currently looking for a reliable, driven, highly motivated personal trainer to join our personal training team primarily to deliver group and 1-1 inductions for a residential gym located in CM1 1LR, with weekday evening/weekend availability. We currently require a trainer available for an average of 2 monthly group inductions plus ad-hoc appointments.

The role will involve delivering gym induction sessions in small groups and 1-1 settings dependent on client requests, upselling as well as delivering our Personal Training services. This is a great opportunity for any self-employed trainers looking to earn additional income, with potential to develop a PT client base within the sites inductions are delivered at.

You will be highly approachable, energetic and work with attention to detail, providing a high level of customer service to prospective members of the residential gym.

Job specifics will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive group gym facility inductions to include the gym, studio, and leisure areas
  • Upon request, delivering specialized 1-1 gym induction sessions consisting of an additional PT consultation and taster session within the appointments
  • Delivering planned, client-specific personal training sessions
  • Managing your administration duties, such as marking attendance for any appointments delivered on our platform
  • Delivery of in-depth group inductions including demonstrations of how to operate all cardiovascular equipment, resistance equipment and any accessory equipment including free weights
  • Being thorough with each induction session on aspects surrounding health and safety protocol and leisure facility rules
  • Ensuring the attendance for all appointments carried out is updated in a timely manner
  • Liaising with Motive8 head office management team to ensure that delivery is consistent managed professionally
  • Providing advice and guidance to help residents succeed with their fitness journey

You will be an effective communicator and maintain communication between all relevant parties in a professional manner, working with guidelines provided on the essentials to be covered within an induction. You should also have experience in delivering fitness training sessions, and have a confident and articulate approach to the way you work.

Please note you do need to hold valid self-employed insurance (or willing to obtain), as well as a valid Level 3 Personal Training Certification in order to be considered for the role.
