Temporary Contract Accountant

Our client is seeking Contract Accountants to join their Business Services andOutsourcing team to support a client project. This opportunity is available on a permanent or contract basis and is suitable for qualified or part-qualified accountants with a range of experience levels. The role involves delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services, with responsibilities tailored according to experience. Job Duties: Provide accounting and financial reporting services in line with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards Deliver client-focused services during on-site or remote secondments Prepare and review financial reports and documentation Use accounting software to support accurate record-keeping and reporting Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all client interactions Stay updated with changes in financial reporting requirements and apply them accordingly Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions to meet business needs Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team Job Requirements: Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS Proven experience working with accounting software and Excel Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management and organisational skills Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive attitude Degree level education or equivalent experience preferred What You\’ll Love: Our client offers a dynamic and supportive working environment that prioritises continuous development and wellbeing.
