Great opportunity to provide an efficient, responsive, high-quality, risk aware, HR advisory service,based in Southampton/Jersey/Guernsey and must have right to work in jurisdiction. Postholder will advise employees and managers on HR policies in accordance with local legislation and Employee Handbook; provide support on significant annual HR processes such as the Annual Salary Review and bonus recommendations; facilitate secondments, transfers, student schemes and training programmes; conduct weekly HR induction sessions for new joiners and employee exit interviews; schedule employee retirement discussions; help build retention strategy; continually seek process improvements; manage high absence if necessary; hold parental leave discussions;
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years\’ experience in an HR advisory role; experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred; ideally fully CIPD qualified; highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask; excellent problem solving and communication skills across all levels; self-starter with initiative and confidence; strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
