Our client is seeking a Manager to lead a team providing Private Client Services for an international client base. This role involves ensuring high-quality administration, managing relationships with clients and intermediaries, and identifying business development opportunities. The successful candidate will oversee team performance, training, and financial management while supporting the Managing Director in operational and strategic functions.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and oversee the administration of client portfolios, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and advisors.
  • Identify training needs within the team and provide day-to-day training as required.
  • Review billing, monitor debt collection, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Conduct manager-level reviews of working papers for annual accounts and financial statements, delegating where appropriate.
  • Review outgoing correspondence and board/trustee minutes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct team performance appraisals and ensure the completion of appraisal documentation.
  • Ensure client review points are addressed and that statutory records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Serve as a B\’ class signatory on the firm\’s authorised signing mandate.
  • Assist Directors with financial reporting and operational tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

  • CGI/STEP Diploma or equivalent, or currently studying towards CGI/STEP Professional qualification.
  • Alternatively, a qualified accountant or relevant professional qualification.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Management training undertaken with proven people management experience.
  • Strong client focus with a proactive approach to managing client relationships and service delivery.
  • Commercial awareness, risk management skills, and a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in operational management with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.
