We are looking for a motivated, people-focused Senior Recruiter to join our fantastic Jersey team! Established in 2005, Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency is an independent and well-respected recruitment business with offices in Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man. We work with a broad range of businesses, from large organisations to smaller independent companies, ensuring every client receives tailored recruitment support. Our experienced and qualified consultants take a professional, consultative approach, helping candidates and businesses find the right fit.

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take full responsibility for managing your own portfolio of candidates and clients, ensuring both receive a high-quality recruitment experience. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from identifying candidates to helping businesses secure top talent. This is a role for someone who enjoys working independently and within a team, managing their own workload, and building strong professional relationships. This role is commission-based, without KPIs, giving you the freedom to focus on service and relationships rather than rigid targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Candidate Support & Recruitment
    • Building lasting relationships with job seekers, guiding them through their job search journey.
    • Providing career advice, interview coaching, and CV support, ensuring candidates stand out.
    • Managing job applications and keeping records updated within our leading CRM system.
    • Conducting telephone, video, and face-to-face interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and career goals.
    • Administering skills testing, gathering compliance documentation, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
    • Keeping candidates engaged and informed, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Client Engagement & Business Development
    • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, from PSL clients to independent businesses.
    • Retaining and expanding client relationships, ensuring businesses trust you as their go-to recruitment partner.
    • Attending client meetings and conference calls, discussing hiring needs, and offering expert recruitment advice.
    • Managing the end-to-end hiring process, from job briefings to negotiating offers and securing placements.
    • Staying ahead of market trends, salary benchmarks, and industry developments to provide clients with valuable insights.
  • Organisation & Administration
    • Managing your own diary and workload effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
    • Handling telephone enquiries and candidate applications professionally and efficiently.
    • Preparing CVs in the Itchyfeet format and submitting candidates to clients.
    • Uploading candidate profiles and CVs onto client portals, ensuring all required documentation and submission details are accurate.
    • Keeping client and candidate records well-organised, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • 3 years + Recruitment, HR, Sales, Finance, or Customer Service experience.
  • Driven and hardworking - you take pride in delivering excellent service.
  • A natural communicator - you can build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Resilient and determined - you handle challenges with confidence and keep pushing forward.
  • Organised and detail-focused - you stay on top of multiple vacancies and tasks.

  • Able to multitask - you’re comfortable handling multiple priorities and making quick decisions.
