Our client is looking for a senior fund accountant to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a financial reporting manager. You will be responsible for the bookkeeping of a complex range of private equity funds, management companies and associated fund structures whilst liaising with clients and intermediaries. You will prepare periodic bank reconciliations and deal with the completion of routine audit queries. You will have the opportunity to act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff.
You are expected to be studying towards a relevant professional qualification having commenced ACCA professional level or ACA advanced level. Computer literacy skills are essential (i.e. eFront/Microsoft Excel), along with being able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be able to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
