Our client is seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Consultant to join their team in Jersey. This full-time position involves 37.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Saturday, with one day off during the week. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing professional sales and support services to customers who are interested in purchasing products and services. This role will focus on delivering excellent customer service while striving to meet sales targets. The Retail Sales Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that every customer leaves with their needs met and a complete understanding of their service or product. Furthermore, this position will require adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines, contributing to a secure and compliant working environment.

Job Duties:

  • Arrive at work in time for daily staff briefings before store opening.
  • Provide a professional sales service to all customers.
  • Strive for excellence in customer service at all times.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide honest and clear information.
  • Ensure every customer leaves satisfied with their needs addressed.
  • Offer complete information to aid customers in making informed decisions.
  • Demonstrate and sell products and services from the mobile and residential portfolio.
  • Attain full competency in the relevant computerised systems and applications post-training.
  • Provide ongoing support for all products and services through face-to-face, email, and telephone interactions.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints within one working day.
  • Assist in training of new retail team members as needed.
  • Attend training sessions as required.
  • Respond to customer requirements promptly.
  • Understand and comply with the company's regulatory and commercial requirements.
  • Meet both personal and group sales targets while processing orders within specified targets.
  • Safeguard the company against legal action and adhere to the company's safety policies.
  • Work selected Thursday nights and Sundays during the Christmas trading period from November 1st to December 31st.
  • Comply with all relevant licensing, Data Protection, and Health and Safety laws and policies.
  • Undertake appropriate security awareness training and understand incident reporting processes.
  • Hold a satisfactory Basic Police Disclosure, with all disclosures treated confidentially.
