Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Portfolio Manager to join their Wealth Management division based in Jersey, Channel Islands. In this role, you will be part of a vibrant team where you will be responsible for managing client relationships and investment portfolios. The successful candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service and investment solutions.
Job Duties
- Manage client relationships and individual portfolios to ensure adherence to mandates and respect for risk profiles.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's inter-family relationships, circumstances, investment objectives, and specific restrictions.
- Provide timely and professional reports to clients, ensuring regular updates and assessments of their portfolio performance.
- React promptly to all client inquiries while being proactive in adjusting strategies according to the economic landscape.
- Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying and converting new opportunities into profitable client relationships.
- Assist in the preparation of compelling investment proposals.
Job Requirements
- An approved Level 4 or above regulatory qualification.
- Willingness to study for and achieve the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager or equivalent level 7 qualification, if not already held.
- Must obtain a Statement of Professional Standing on an annual basis.
- Demonstrable experience in client relationship management and portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of pertinent wealth management compliance and regulatory standards.
- Hold Entitled for Work status in Jersey.
