Our client, an independent expanding fiduciary business, is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant for their Head of Client Accounting role.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the management and development of the Client Accounting team.
- Oversee the team to manage daily workflow, monitor progress of accounts preparation, and allocate ad hoc requests and new business.
- Manage a portfolio of very complex structures and the entire accounting process within this.
- Include an element of business development and responsibility for encouraging and ensuring financial results.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years client accounting experience (gained in Trust and Company).
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of accounting standards, trust administration, and Jersey company law.
- Proven management experience is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and IT skills, with a high attention to detail.
