Our client is seeking a General Administrator to support their Audit & Assurance department in a part-time capacity, working 25 hours a week over three days. This role primarily involves acting as Company Secretary for the entities involved, scheduling quarterly board meetings, and communicating with committee members to curate meeting agendas. The General Administrator will ensure that all necessary materials are prepared and distributed in advance of meetings, record accurate minutes, and manage follow-ups on action points identified during discussions. Administrative duties will also include arranging travel and event bookings, assisting with the onboarding of new clients, and providing support to managers and directors. The successful candidate will need to be detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and a commitment to client-focused service.
Responsibilities
- Schedule quarterly board meetings and ensure dates are secured well in advance.
- Communicate with board and committee members to compile agenda items.
- Draft and update terms of reference for boards and committees as necessary.
- Consolidate paperwork into board packs and circulate ahead of meetings.
- Draft and circulate meeting notices and agendas.
- Record accurate minutes of meetings and identify action points.
- Follow up on action points and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with travel and event bookings as requested.
- Support managers and directors with various tasks.
- Assist with client onboarding and due diligence processes.
- Manage client disengagement processes, including draft letters and archiving documents.
- Handle professional clearance requests and client communications.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative experience with a preference for prior CoSec experience.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Innovative with a commercial outlook and ability to spot opportunities.
