We have vacancies for General Supervisors based at our busy Acorn site. Primarily working with our Reuse team, you will assist the Team Leaders in operational aspects of running the Acorn Reuse operation and supervise staff, volunteers and clients working in various areas of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create a positive working atmosphere for staff, clients and volunteers.
- Plan and organise daily tasks, ensuring staff understand instructions and processes and provide any training needed.
- Lead and support staff to carry out tasks such as sorting, pricing, re-stocking, cleaning and organising shelves and displays.
- Deal with customer enquiries professionally and courteously.
- Identify any safeguarding concerns and bring them to the immediate attention of the line manager.
