The Honorary Secretary plays a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the JSPCA Committee. The position supports strong governance practice by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with constitutional requirements, and facilitating clear communication across the organisation.

Working closely with the President, Committee Officers, Committee Members and the CEO, the Honorary Secretary helps ensure the JSPCA meets its governance obligations and supports the delivery of its mission, vision and strategic objectives. The role also contributes to maintaining positive relationships between the Committee, stakeholders and the wider community, helping to promote a professional and credible profile for the charity.
