This diverse and interesting role is a key support for general finance and business decisions, working to produce financial insights needed and developing innovative solutions for business growth. The responsibilities include:
- Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts.
- Monitoring financial performance against KPIs.
- Implementing PowerBI dashboards to satisfy MI needs.
- Helping ensure new tools and technologies, including PowerBI & Finance AI, are designed and implemented.
- Challenging existing norms and identifying ideas for automation, reporting, and analysis improvements.
- Assisting with preparing revenue and cost budgets, plans, and forecasts.
- Supporting audit and policy implementation.
- Producing reports to manage future performance.
- Using business insights and detailed analysis for P&L management.
- Applying market and industry knowledge to business issues.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, technology-minded with strong commercial awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should demonstrate application of accounting standards, be action-oriented, focused on continuous improvement and driving change. Strong communication and relationship skills are essential, and PowerBI experience is desirable.
This position is entitled or entitled to work only. Travel will be required from time to time to the UK and Guernsey.
