Commercial Underwriter, Insurance - Jersey

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Underwriter with our client\’s Underwriting Team based in their Jersey office.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service for underwriting referrals on complex and non-standard commercial risks from brokers and their broker partners.To be considered for the opportunity, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following;

Pro-active, self-motivated and enthusiasticEnsuring tasks are seen through to completionGood communication skillsAn ability to influence and build relationshipsA natural ability to juggle multiple demandsWorking accurately with attention to detail

A Certification CII qualification is desirable however if you have begun to sign up to your exams or have shown a willingness to study towards your Certification CII qualification, then you will be considered.
