Automation Platform Owner

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Automation Platform Owner to lead the development, governance, and strategic evolution of their enterprise low-code application platform. The role is a full-time position based in London or Jersey, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in solution architecture and hands-on experience with platforms such as Neptune DX, Appian, and Salesforce. You will drive the deployment of scalable, secure, and user-centric digital solutions while managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with platform governance. This position encompasses overseeing platform support and incident resolution, as well as monitoring platform health, making it a critical role in the organisation’s technology landscape. Job Duties

• Own and manage the Neptune DX or equivalent low-code platform, including roadmap, licensing, and vendor relationships.
• Define and enforce platform governance, development standards, and security protocols.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure solution designs, developing and maintaining architecture artefacts including data models, integration maps, and technical documentation.
• Lead the design and delivery of low-code applications, collaborating with business analysts, developers, and UX designers to optimise user journeys and application flows.
• Drive API integration and automation initiatives across enterprise systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability of deployed solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors while providing strategic input into digital transformation initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Oversee platform support, incident resolution, and SLA compliance, implementing proactive maintenance strategies to monitor platform health.

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in solution architecture within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Neptune DX, Power Platform, Salesforce, Appian, or similar low-code platforms.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Azure, SQL Server, and API management.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and sprint planning.
• Experience with data governance, security architecture, and enterprise integration.
• Strategic thinker with a balance of innovation and operational rigor.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
