Fantastic opportunity available for a bright and motivated candidate to join a busy Trade Mark Prosecution department and provide administrative and operational support to the team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and specialist area of law, supporting a team that manages a broad range of trade mark matters, including searches, responses to official actions, and advising clients on trade mark prosecution and portfolio management. The role is integral to the smooth operation of the department and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when managing correspondence, maintaining client records, and monitoring deadlines. The successful candidate will take ownership of their workload, oversee the central Client Services mailbox and provide trade mark prosecution support to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are consistently maintained. Available on both a permanent and 12-month FTC.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Trade Mark Prosecution department.
- Manage correspondence, maintain client records, and monitor deadlines to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are maintained.
- Oversee the central Client Services mailbox.
- Support trade mark prosecution activities including searches and responses to official actions.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Methodical, organised approach; able to use initiative and exercise sound judgement.
- Confident and professional communicator.
- Previous administrative experience in a professional services or legal environment is desirable but not essential.
