Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Fund Administrator for a full-time position. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic team in providing exceptional fund administration services to a diverse range of entities. With a commitment to compliance and quality, this position plays a vital part in ensuring that our client\’s clients experience seamless service. Job Duties
- Provide support to fund administrators in managing the administration of funds and other entities.
- Familiarise yourself with relevant Instruments and Agreements related to the entities under administration.
- Ensure timely compliance with the tax status of entities, including the completion of tax returns and payment of liabilities.
- Manage incoming correspondence promptly, escalating to the relevant supervisor when necessary.
- Prepare detailed attendance notes and circulate these to team members as required.
- Assist in drafting minutes and other meeting documents.
- Serve as the immediate point of contact for allocated cases under supervision.
- Collaborate with the Client Accounting Solutions team to maintain accounting records and prepare annual accounts where applicable.
- Review and assist with the billing process, including discussing draft invoices with management.
- Maintain and update database records and statutory records diligently.
- Monitor aged debt positions and liaise with the accounts department to maintain control over outstanding debts.
- Conduct periodic reviews of client matters as scheduled by management, reporting any issues promptly.
- Exhibit a basic awareness of local regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
- Undertake other tasks as reasonably required by management or directors.
Job Requirements
- Educated to A-level or degree standard with a willingness to work towards a professional qualification.
- Strong IT skills are essential.
- Previous office experience is advantageous; specific fund/trust experience is not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrated flexibility, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Solution-driven attitude with a methodical and accurate approach to work.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
