We are seeking an enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for chemistry and a strong background in laboratory procedures and quality control. The successful candidate must be able to organise their own work load and plan their day accordingly.
Responsibilities:

– Perform laboratory QC tests following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
– Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
– Assist with R&D , including the development of new technology and product improvement
– Collaborate with the team to analyze and interpret data
– Document findings and communicate results effectively
– Compliance work such as COSHH assessments
– Answer customer enquiries
– Assist with customer service visits

Essential Experience:

– Qualification in chemistry such as BTEC, HNC or Degree
– Proficiency in general laboratory work (titrations, dilutions, pH calibration etc)
– Proficiency in Mathematics and English
– Familiarity with basic quality control processes
– Experience working in a laboratory setting

Preferred Skills:

– Full Driving license
– Problem solving
– Understanding of scientific principles and methodologies
– self motivated

Expected hours: 36 per week Mon – Fri with early finish Friday.
