Position: Chemistry Analyst

Training: Full training will be given.

Type: Temporary, initially until end of March 2026.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday

The lab analyses environmental samples accredited to ISO/IEC17025. The team analyses environmental samples for inorganic analysis by a range of different techniques and instrumentation. The lab has a high sample throughput.

Location: Based in Starcross.

You will demonstrate key capabilities in communication, customer focus, decision making, delivery of work, planning, problem solving, and teamwork.

Techniques Used:

  • ICP-MS
  • AAS
  • Ion Chromatography
  • BOD
  • COD

You will be involved in sample preparation, analysis of samples, and reporting results.

Person Requirements:

  • Available to start within 4 weeks.
  • Chemistry Degree or closely related, or A Level Chemistry.
  • Location Preference: Ideally already local to Exeter.
