Our client is a leading FMCG company with leading brands in the laundry and household cleaning sectors. They are seeking a qualified and experienced QA Manager to join their busy technical team based in Redditch. In this key role you will manage a team of 9 across various functions to ensure that the final product follows the company's quality standards and be responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Management Systems and QA Processes including auditing.
- HACCP and Site Risk Assessments.
- Management of GMP and BRC standards and requirements.
- Quality Control and raw materials.
- Quarantine processes and internal non‑conformity.
- Internal packaging issues.
- Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, ideally gained within FMCG, chemicals or other regulated industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements for both GMP and BRC.
- Internal auditing experience and able to host external audits.
- Writing and updating of Quality Management Systems QMS and documentation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Quality Control QC processes as applied to raw materials and finished products.
- Experienced leading small teams.
- Experienced with CAPA and continuous improvement.
- Familiar with Health & Safety legislation and able to undertake risk assessments and HACCP.
- Excellent communication skills.
