Based in State of the Art Laboratories. The position of High Throughput laboratory chemist is a varied and exciting role, with candidates being hands on with production of chemical materials. The role also involves operating, calibrating & developing test instruments. Main objectives are: • Assist in lab operations at the Lab • Produce reference materials, in accordance with established procedures • Testing and verifying reference material • Work to established in-house procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 & 17034 • Conduct weekly/monthly lab checks • Carry out regular stability and homogeneity testing • Waste management • Maintain high levels of cleanliness • Undertake good house keeping QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Experience in a High Througput testing laboratory. Strong understanding of the Good Lab Practice GCSE – Maths, English, Science (C [5] or higher) Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products PREFERRED SKILLS • Bachelors of Science, preferably Chemistry, or closely related • Good attention to detail • Good problem solving skills • Driving license • Awareness of 5S
