Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract candidates using various platforms including CV databases, job boards, LinkedIn, and social media.
- Conduct screening calls, telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Arrange interviews.
- Maintain regular contact with candidates, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and manage candidate talent pools for current and future vacancies.
- Understand job specifications, qualifications, and experience required to fill each role.
- Support pre-employment checks and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Identify new business opportunities and job leads by scanning the market and acting as the eyes and ears of the business.
- Support sales activities by assisting in the placement process and hitting individual and team-based KPIs.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in maritime recruitment, crewing, or seafarer placement.
- Understanding of marine qualifications and Merchant Navy ranks/certifications.
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to assess candidate suitability quickly.
- Target-driven with a sales-oriented mindset.
- Able to build rapport quickly and gain the confidence of candidates and clients.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Technically proficient in using recruitment tools and platforms.
