This isn’t just any finance role; you’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring the smooth financial flow of a dynamic property business. Your day-to-day will be varied and engaging, offering real insight into this thriving company. Our Client is looking for someone ready to hit the ground running, therefore, ideally you will have excellent Accounts/Financial experience gained within a ‘Property based’ environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Mastering Debt Management: Take ownership of the end-to-end debt recovery process, from tracking payments to initiating actions and resolving queries.
- Tenant & Landlord Liaison: Communicate effectively with tenants regarding overdue payments, maintain positive relationships, and collaborate with landlords on complex debt issues.
- Financial Precision: Accurately process tenant payments, allocate funds, and generate insightful reports on debt status and trends.
- Compliance & Improvement: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and continuously refine our debt management processes.
- Key Financial Support: Manage the central finance mailbox, handle all landlord bills (invoices, council tax, energy), log deposits with Safe Deposit Scotland, assist with contractor payments, and support other finance tasks.
