We are looking for a Spa Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of The Method, a new wellness experience in Notting Hill. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a hybrid role - delivering exceptional front-of-house service while also taking ownership of key wellness operations such as scheduling, client journey, stock management, and treatment coordination.
This role sits under the Operations Manager and plays a vital part in ensuring the spa runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Salary: £33-35,000
Location: Notting Hill, London
Working hours: 40 hours per week, on a shift basis, including some weekends
The Responsibilities:
- Balance guest-facing responsibilities with operational oversight, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience across all touchpoints.
- Deliver exceptional front-of-house service, welcoming guests and supporting with spa and studio bookings.
- Act as a key point of contact within the spa, ensuring smooth daily operations and a premium guest journey.
- Support the Operations Manager with rota planning, ensuring appropriate staffing levels across spa and wellness services.
- Manage stock levels for spa products, consumables, and retail, placing orders and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Coordinate treatment schedules and therapist availability to maximise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, stock, and operational processes using internal systems.
- Assist with onboarding and supporting spa team members to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Work closely with fitness, marketing, and concierge teams to align on promotions, events, and wellness offerings.
- Monitor spa standards, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support opening and closing procedures, ensuring the space is fully operational and secure.
The Person:
- Strong organisational skills with a passion for hospitality and wellness.
- Warm, professional, and highly organised, with the ability to manage both guest interactions and operational tasks.
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of spa operations, including scheduling, stock control, and service delivery.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems efficiently.
- Passionate about health, fitness, and wellbeing, with an appreciation for luxury service standards.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with guests, therapists, and senior management.
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using booking systems (mindbody experience is preferred), spreadsheets, and operational tools.
- Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of the business.
